Meet The Heart Behind Paws In Paradise SWFL

Welcome to My Fur Family 🐾

Pets have always been part of my heart and home, but over the past decade, they’ve become part of my life’s purpose. What started as a love for animals turned into a passion for rescue, fostering and adopting pets in Florida, and helping pets find safe, loving homes.

Over the years, our family has welcomed pregnant strays, helped deliver and raise seven puppies, cared for abandoned dogs — including a tiny two-week-old puppy left on the road — and opened our home to pets who simply needed someone to say, “You’re safe now.”

Today, our home is full of love, laughter, and wagging tails, with five dogs, one cat, and six koi fish proudly calling it home.

Meet Our Pets

Our home is filled with love thanks to our wonderful four-legged (and finned!) family members. Mama, our oldest girl, found her way to us one early morning when she was gently dropped off on our road along with her tiny two-week-old puppy, whom we lovingly named Baby, and a small companion we believe to be her father—now known as Sammy.

After the loss of our two senior dogs, we welcomed two very special additions to our family. Bucko joined us through adoption from Domestic Animal Services of Collier County, and Dakota was adopted from the incredible Animal Refuge Center in Fort Myers. Each of them has helped bring joy and comfort back into our home.

We were also blessed with our cat, Suki, who came into our lives as a kitten after being abandoned along with her siblings. A friend helped connect us, and she has been a cherished part of our family ever since.

Rounding out our family are six beautiful koi fish, who live in a large pond we created at the entrance of our home—a peaceful and calming feature we enjoy every day.

Why this matters so much to me...

Over the past ten years, I’ve had the privilege of rescuing pregnant strays, helping deliver and raise puppies, save tiny abandoned dogs, and watching them grow healthy and strong.

Many of those puppies went on to live with close friends and family — so I was able to get to see their happy lives as they grew.

This journey has shaped who I am. It’s the reason I’m so passionate about helping pet-loving families find homes where everyone — two-legged and four-legged — can thrive in Southwest Florida.

How This Connects to Paws In Paradise SWFL

I understand how important pets are because I live it every single day. When I help families relocate, I’m thinking about more than bedrooms and square footage — I’m thinking about fenced yards, pet-friendly neighborhoods, nearby vets, parks, beaches, and safe spaces for your best friends.

That’s why Paws in Paradise SWFL isn’t just a real estate brand — it’s a lifestyle built around pets, family, and finding the perfect place to call home.
